Show your Post Processing - Extreme

A fun thread, however it's also a picture provoking one, as well, because at least for some of us I think it may help us think outside of our own photographic boxes, so to speak.

In the past, I always thought about realism. I still do but not quite in the same way.

Anyhow, please keep these photos coming! Bill, I really like that HDRish car shot!

Here is one from yesterday. Untouched and retouched. Although I know my "retouched" may seem to be a bit too much, I like it. I may try toning it down slightly and see what I think.

ricks, you've gone graphic on us!:D I like that! May I ask what processing you used and if you might post the original for us to see your original? Oh yes, and remind me again - which camera are you using?

Now that is very impressive! First of all you saw what was there, it called out to you and you used it, beautifully. Ancient or not - great work, ricks!

I also happen to think your original photo is very worth while seeing. I am determined to get you to find a way to post these shots in their full glory. I won't nag you, too much.;)

nine years dormant and the thread comes back to life....love it.
And I LOVE the heart you've created wee-pics
I very much appreciate your comment, Luke. Seeing myself more as a musician (acoustic guitarist, ragtime ... blues ... finger-picking ... own stuff) than a photographer I'm still fighting for getting the results I see in the "back of my head".
What is interesting about posting one's pics is the reactions they cause. Often a photo which I wasn't sure of posting at all gets quite a lot of feedback whereas other photos which I'm proud of (because I thought that I managed to capture that "certain something") get almost no reactions at all. But that's life ... tastes differ. ;)
