Dierdre, love those stockings - and the melding of different clothing eras!

Javier, that is a great example of "mating display" that you caught and the nice gleam on the female's earpieces adds a special dash to this one!;) Nicely observed.

I recently reprocessed these for a little mini-challenge on the Canon forum over at dpreview. Stuck them on Flickr so I could link to them and darned if they didn't start getting nice comments. So here they are - the first two with the LX-5 and second with the EP2...

Yup, saw 'em there - and commented! I do like seeing them larger...and yes I did click on them there but it's nice to see them here in their glory. I wasn't sure which cameras you'd used because there wasn't any info available. There's something about that third one that really hits home for me...the impression is very soothing, and I like the kind of rough smoothness, if that makes any sense.

I reaaaaaally like the last one you posted, the landscape, very moody, there is depth in that photo as can be seen in the distant mountains and what I assume to be fog as well.

Nice series, intense - I really like the fact that your pictures show's off such different emotional reactions... Well, maybe they're the same emotions but each portrait shows how each of your friends expresses themselves differently. The lighting is excellent in your third and I my bet is that your friend would love to have a print of this.(y)

Thank you, BBW! A print is a nice idea indeed :2thumbs:

Just had a play with some pics I took a few weeks ago - I wasn't totally happy with my earlier results.

This panorama is made from 3 photos taken with my Olympus E-P1 and Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95. Oh it was raining too which is why one of the rock fishing people is wearing a raincoat, and the other (believe it or not) is wearing a wetsuit.

I like the moodiness in this scene very much, Peter and the format worked out beautifully. It does help to click on it and see it larger, too.:drinks: The wetsuit sounds as though it was probably a good choice!
