Bill, if those are indeed naval ordnances, they're make me a tad nervous - though I'm not sure if I'm correct if that is what I'm looking at. You've given this image a nice, old fashioned film feel that seems very fitting.

Barrie, it's wonderful to have both of these views of that lighthouse. It must have been a glorious blue sky day!

Yes it was a fabulous day, particularly coming as it did after about 4 days of rain and gales (as it is now as I write this). There is a colour thread over at a certain other forum should you wish to see the colour versions.

Neil, thank you for jumping right in by posting your two photographs and congratulations on taking the plunge with that Ricoh. I can feel the wind in those pictures and it feels cold to me, too.
 
I took the following shot in May, but developed this version this evening. I applied one of my film presets for Lightroom, which I got from here, namely Ilford FP4+. I like to use these presets very much and get results, which are very beautiful in my eyes.
