Color portraits and or photographs of people

I don't think one could get more real than this, Pavel. I need a reminder - is this with your mu43 camera? He's a very handsome young man with incredible blue eyes!

Ray, I think I remember that shot of yours - love that yellow line and the blurred figure!

And, no olli - I am not too kind. As Don AKA Streetshooter would say, I calls it likes I sees it.;)

Wow, Olli, the texture in that rail shot's amazing. I seem to have missed it earlier. Now I want to go to Georgia!

Ray, your shot has a much more close-in and warmer feel to it, love the motion!

Pavel, awesome shot -- what held his attention at that moment, I wonder?

Thanks Deirdre. That shot was taken in Prague. Unfortunately the metro in Tbilisi is an altogether more utilitarian space.

Javier that is quite the threesome! It looks as though they've just scored a few purchases...well, let's hope they were purchases. The fellow on the left side has the slightest resemblance to John Lennon...so I keep thinking they must be musicians.;) I'm sure they would love to have a copy of this shot. Great color, too!

Leica X1

I may have posted this before, but I recently revisited it and made some changes....and I've been missing these nice big image files.

Believe me, as "shot" or exhausted as my husband looks this was the first beer! It had been a tough week of "vacation" since it rained non stop and the winds were so strong we thought we might have to evacuate. This was our first day of sunshine, and I think we didn't know what to do with it!;)

How many had they had by this point? I detect a certain glazed look. Or is this how you reward your models?

hahaha!!

I really like the colour in this photo. The colours pop without being saturated in any way, to my eyes. I'm still learning how to get the balance right in some of my colour photos.

BB, Your processing here looks great. I love the glow from the Budweiser sign. Really nice picture. Makes me wonder why you gave that camera up

Great image. The sharpness and colour are superb!! What makes it really good is that your hubby is looking at something over yonder and the other guy is looking at the camera and they both look like they have been deep in conversation about something important.

Why did you sell the X1?

Just a quick aside, of thank you to you, Andy, James and ricks. There was much that I loved about that camera and I would not have sold it if I had not researched the upcoming Fuji X100. I don't want to derail the thread anymore about this, but my fingers, my toes and my eyes are crossed in hope!

pdh, I commend you for always being at the ready with your camera and hope you didn't hurt your arse! ;)
