It's a weird vestige of flickr's pre-yahoo past. All the names I wanted were taken, so I used the first thing I could think of -- the Hawaiian word for squid. So that's why muhe-e is my username.

I know... I was involved in a MINI Cooper newsgroup type of thing and had to choose my name - Otra - for "On The Road Again" as in the song(s)*. I guess the 2004 is from that year? I amended it slightly and added the /BBW. How original, eh?

* Canned Heat's song and Willie Nelson's completely different song.

Yours is so much more explainable, though! Mine, well, it's a very long explanation to say that I was writing a Polynesian fantasy novel roughly based on Hawaii, so I was using deeply mired in Polynesian dictionaries. The cuttlefish is my favorite sea critter, but there is no Hawaiian word for it. Why? Squid (muhe'e) and octopus (he'e) exist in a plankton form, thus migrated to Hawaii as zooplankton, but cuttlefish don't do that. So there ya go.
