Showcase Carl Zeiss Jena 13.5cm F4 Sonnar, uncoated

    Adapted to Leics mount using a Jupiter-11 focus mount. This one is from 1937, originally on Contax RF Mount.

    Used a 0.01mm shim for final setting- focus is good from 2.5m closest focus to infinity. The J-11 mount, and wartime Zeiss mounts for Leica had the same limitation.

    Gunston Hall is actually inclined like this- I asked when noting all my shots of it were a little off.

    This is a 4 element in 3 group Sonnar- and is amazingly free of distortion and is flare resistant.
