Since I picked up a Summicron 75mm, I've been using the grip on my M-E more and more. I've been wanting to get a grip for my M6, but I don't want the motor that has the grip built in as it's too much for what I need.

Has any tried the 14405 grip, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/801021183-USE/leica_14405_m_handgrip.html ? This grip seems perfect as it doesn't appear to add too much to the film body in terms of size and weight.

i have one, i'll trade it for the 75mm cron!

seriously though... it's pretty light which is good because i would only use it with bigger lenses: voigtlander 50mm nokton and 75mm heliar. the grip makes handling these a lot easier. i'm down to just a 50mm cron so i never use this anymore.

I've been using my grip for my M6 since I received it a couple of weeks ago and I really like it, I haven't taken it off yet. An added benefit, IMO, is that the tripod mount is now in the center of the camera.
