Was a bittersweet day. The 35mm Zeiss Biogon arrived (thanks Tony!), and had a quick chance to try it out before it was time to crate up the kittens and take them to the adoption center.

I've been fostering the kittens for the past 6 weeks or so, watching them grow into loving little goofballs. I really miss them already, and feel awful having left them in a cage at Petsmart. But they just aren't getting adopted with online adds alone, and there's been a decent track record of adopting out of Petsmart.

So, "hello" to the 35mm Biogon f2, and send-off photos of the kittens:

Easy to see how they found new homes so quickly- very adorable.

Yes they are. Rikki and Tessa were adopted today, apparently to a very good family. I'm very relieved, sometimes the only adopters you can find are a bit "iffy." Artie was there alone and unhappy. I'm too much of a softie and brought him home. He's purring on my lap now as a type. :^)
