This is the lens purchased here recently. Beautiful condition. Like most Russian lenses, it benefits from being shimmed for the Leica camera. I swapped out the shim for one 0.2mm thicker. The focus was off by about 2m at 5m. It's spot on.

These are on with the Leica M8, shooting RAW mode and using M8RAW2DNG V1.2. Monochrome conversions using Silver Efex 2.

One of George Mason's sons, named after him.

At F5.6, simulated Blue filter and Panatomic-X preset. ISO 160.

Wide-Open, straight conversion using M8RAW2DNG with the -C option, then LR 4.4 exports.

At F5.6, Distance shots are fine at F2.8 as well.

Do you mean DNG by RAW mode, Brian?

Do you recommend not to use the IR cut filter for B&W?

The site explains how to unlock uncompressed mode on the M8. It gives the same advantage as using uncompressed DNG mode on the M9.
