Great lens with a dual personality -- pretty sharp stopped down and dreamy wide open. This shot is stopped down to about f2.8 or f4.

It's also a tiny lens, about the same size and weight as the 35mm Summicron v1 or 35mm Summaron.

I've posted a few photos taken wide open at f/1.4 on my flickr page in the album Vassanta https://www.flickr.com/photos/brusby/sets/72157648389905393/ which show the alternative character of this lens and the reason I really like it. Because of less well corrected aberrations at that aperture it renders in a nice soft, dreamy style, kind of like a wide angle Noctilux. Even at it's softest, it's still sharp.

Because some of the photos are nudes (hopefully artistic) I thought they might not be appropriate to post here.

I love this lens too. It has become my favorite lens if I want to use only one lens.
    Thanks.

Yes, I really like that it's so versatile and permits changing the mood of the shot or session just by changing aperture. No need to swap lenses.

This lens does very well with color images. It renders colors with a pastel-like view.

Here's one shot at f2 to preserve a bit of the dreamy effect of this lens while sharpening it up just a tad from wide open.

Last one I think. Mixed daylight and incandescent here was a little problematic.

The OOF areas of the image of the model laying on the bench really make the subject pop.
