MM/Noctilux Flowers and Leaves

    This was an odd opportunity. Normally I'd ignore something I had to crop this much, but the leaves especially were intriguing. I didn't go as far with the contrast as some suggestions I had, since the much brighter flowers would steal the scene from the leaves. f4.0, 1/360 handheld, ISO 320.

    You mention tight cropping and contrast increase; it would be interesting to see the original.

    This one looks sharp.

    Most of my pictures taken in the Gardens at Mt Vernon have been with deep yellow filters, Nikkor Y48 and equivalent.
