Digilux 2 JPEG, minor PP on LR 4.4.
I can't imagine me getting such a perfect capture of a red flower like this. Any special settings, i.e. color balance, saturation etc., or is it all in PP?
I was surprised myself, as reds tend to get too blown out or smeared with my other cameras, and with the D2 as well. My D2 is set to Auto WB, contrast, saturation and sharpening all on STD, ISO 200, finest JPEG setting. I was shooting on manual and tried to expose primary for the highlight areas, and was happy to get this. Very minor PP on LR 4.4 with slight adjustment to exposure and sharpening only.
That really came out beautifully!
Some of the older sensors cut much more from the red channel to take out IR- I wonder if that is at work here.
Whatever they did- looks great.
