Great perspective, from up high? I especially like the "not quite awake yet" feel.
I'll receive a used copy of this lens either today or tomorrow. If it gives results such as this I'll be much pleased.
I need to get up to the local wetlands again.
That 25 looks good on the M8.2. The M8 and M8.2 sensor has a unique look to it- very crisp due to the thinner IR absorbing filter over the sensor, much thinner than the M9, M Monochrom, and M240. I've been shooting mostly 16-bit raw for the last 6 months, and the amount of shadow detail preserved is amazing.
Actually, the perspective is not high. It happens that the birds were lower. The Zeiss 25mm is one of my favorite lenses for the M8.2.
