Tried the Nokton 50mm f1.5 today with the M240. Shot wide open and pretty much OOC exported to JPG from LR5 (reduced exposure in the tennis ball shot)

    L1007500. L1007506. L1007517. L1007521. L1007503. L1007508.

This lens is sharp- enough to out-resolve the M Monochrom.

IF you ever get some shots out of focus, others in focus: I found one design flaw with the retaining ring that holds the front doublet in place. The retaining ring must be tightened using pin-type heads on a spanner. The retaining ring on mine had never been tightened down properly, the group would move ever-so-slightly when pointed down. Better now.

I returned the lens today to its owner. He had sold it on Amazon last night. I won't have it to play with, but at least that removes the temptation to buy yet another 50mm lens .
It was fun to play with it though.... At least my Elmarit 28 ASPH f2.8 came in today so I have something to hold my attention for a bit ;)
