I just made a tempeh gyro for lunch, heh. I just wish they'd do this for a veggie version of shawarma!
The camera or the Shoarma?
I used to be a big fan. It usually was the thing we went for after a night on the town.
But in the last few years I've migrated to Döner.
The last Shawarma I had was about a week ago at my favorite middle eastern restaurant/grocery, run by a very personable and hardworking Palestinian family. The food is exquisite, and I get to buy a pound or two of dates every time I go. Once I found out they are healthy for you, there was no stopping me!
