    HI,
are all the rangefinder lenses minimum focal length a meter?

i have a visoflex 2, and i get some great macro shots - but that kinda defeats the purpose of a RF in my humble opinion.

i get frustrated with my M9 from time to time with a 50mm on it because i often can't get close enough - mainly shooting photos of my kids and such -

    thoughts?

The 50mm Summicron Dual Range (DR) has a minimum focusing distance (MFD) of 21", when in close range mode. I love the DR on my MP but it doesn't focus to infintity on digital M bodies w/o modifying the cam on the lens. You also have to remove the post on the back of goggles in order to use it on a digital M body (top plate is too tall).

I think the 75 cron has a MFD of .7 meters as well, I also liked this lens but rarely used it. If I shot more portraits, I probably would have kept it
