A few days ago: I got back with my daughters from an attempt to drive around to explore downtown in the (light) snow, but drivers seem not to be used to driving on ice, and the City is not used to spray salt to remove any ice from the streets, so this is a risky driving experience. I did the wise thing by carefully making a U turn and then drive home. Palm plants have snow on them, with frozen water in bird feeders. It is an even that occurs on average each ten years in Pensacola. I told my daughters that they would be in college by the next time they would experience snow again in Pensacola. I used the M8 and the M9 for some souvenir snapshots. Both cameras experienced battery trouble quickly (it is F23) as the batteries may not have been fully charged. I switched to charged batteries, and then I kept both cameras in the camera bag and only removed them when taking a photo. Schools were closed down for Tuesday and Wednesday, and this included my university. I used the Rigid Summicron on the M8 @ ISO160, and I used the Nikkor 35/1.8 on the M9 @ ISO160.
