Tracks at noon

    Today over lunch. I'll use Google maps to try finding what might be neat places near my work. Sometimes it works, other times not so much. :)

    Footprints in snow, train tracks receding to distance off-center, winter leafless trees, sun-star. These can be cliche. But in this photo they all work together. I think the shadows and the wise choice of exposure bring everything together. I really like this one. And once again, I like a photo that presents questions along with facts.

    Thanks. I wasn't all that happy with the views at that spot, but sometimes that's the challenge - especially when time is limited. I did work this as best I could for composition and exposure choice. I think that saved an otherwise "bust" of an outing. :)

    It worked very well I would say. And I'll keep that as a tip. What a great Idea you had by using google for possible photographic locations !
